This was a lucky shot. It's been a long time ago that I've seen one of the wolves posing on that log. Ronja looks pretty majestic in here.
Things have returned to how they used to be once. The old, dominant and self-assured beta-wolf-with-privilege-of-fools Ronja is back. And Kira is back at the bottom. It seems like her new self-confidence was too unstable. I assume she overstepped a mark in suppressing Ronja and one day the latter just went "Okay now, this has gone way overboard. I'm fed up with this be-submissive-thing." and hauled Kira over the coals. I saw some bite marks on Kira's face and she is again dwelling in the back corner of the enclosure.
At one point today I wasn't even sure if Ronja hasn't become alpha and Luna her beta. When they got breakfast both of them were rushing into the new enclosure, tails up, gathering the food. Smilla stayed back and followed slowly, looking pretty uncertain.
But I changed my mind when later a mad Smilla hunted Luna down and chased her off from the meat.

Ah, social life of wolves. It's as interesting as ever.
